This top with attached cape and hood is all you need to transform into a royal member of the king's army. The shirt features a hood and sleeves made of faux chainmail. Attached to the top is a black tunic trimmed in gold stitching. In the center is a golden lion image. On back is a red cape that completes the look and gives it some color too. During medieval times chainmail was armor made of small rings linked together to form a mesh pattern. Well-made mail could protect the owner from many swords. While it was lighter than plate armor it could still be heavy but our costume is comfortable to wear and not heavy. Sword pants and boots are not included. We suggested black pants and black boots or boot tops.
